1. Attend a Behind the Scenes Tour
The first application step is an orientation at Breakthrough. Every first monday of the month we host a Behind the Scenes Tour for people to meet our staff, learn about the vision of Breakthrough, and see the facilities. It's a great way for applicants to determine if Breakthrough is a right fit for their internship. The tour is not an interview. RSVP for the tour.
2. Complete an Application
If Breakthrough seems like an appropriate fit the intern can submit an internship application form. Interns will not be scheduled for interviews until their application form is complete. Complete an application form.
3. Schedule an Interview
A formal interview will be scheduled with the applicant after the first two steps are completed. The interview process will occur in two stages, first with the volunteer coordinator, and then with the relevant program director.

4. Academic Requirements
In the interview process, the applicant should provide us with any internship guidelines, contracts, or evaluation forms required by the intern's academic institution and degree program.
